We are excited to welcome your children, from infant to fifth grade, into our children’s ministry!!!
When you walk in the front entrance of the building, you will be standing in our check-in area. One of our volunteers will be happy to assist you in signing your children in for kids’ worship.
Our Mission
Passionately partnering with families to make disciples of our children by providing them with a solid Biblical foundation, opportunities to serve, and mentors and teachers to care and lead by example.
What We Teach
At LHCC, we strongly believe we are here to partner with each parent to make a greater impact in their child’s spiritual journey. To do this, we use age-appropriate lessons based on Biblical teaching. Handouts come home each week showing what the kids have learned. This allows parents to continue teaching the Bible lesson during the week which will reinforce the lesson and principles in their child’s heart.
We assist parents in their responsibility of training up a child in the things of God. Just like LHCC as a whole, we seek to make disciples of the next generation, so they too can make disciples who make disciples. We desire to see children grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), so they make impacts on their community. Preschool and elementary children learn about God’s love and His purpose and plan for them through worship, God-centered Bible lessons, and age-appropriate games and activities. We have a lot of fun together!
A Safe Place
Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance. We train our classroom leaders and volunteers, implement safety procedures, and run background checks in order to provide a safe place for your children.
